Return, Refund, & Core Return Policy

Returns

We want you to be fully satisfied with your purchase. If for any reason you are not, you may return most items within 30 days of purchase.

Eligibility for Returns:

  • Items must be in the same condition you received them.

  • All original, undamaged packaging, accessories, and manuals must be included.

  • Proof of purchase (receipt or order confirmation) is required.

⚠️ Exceptions:

  • Customized products, racing and competition parts, or items that have been abused are non-returnable.

  • Sale items and gift cards are not eligible for return.

Important: There is a 30% restocking fee on all returns. Please ensure you order the correct part before purchasing.

How to Start a Return

To request a return, please contact us:

Once your return is approved, we will provide instructions on how and where to send your package. Items sent back without prior authorization will not be accepted.

Exchanges

The fastest way to exchange an item is to return the product you have. Once your return is accepted, you can place a new order for the replacement item.

Damaged, Defective, or Incorrect Items

Please inspect your order immediately upon arrival. If your item is defective, damaged, or you received the wrong product, contact us right away so we can make it right.

Refunds

Once we receive and inspect your return, we’ll notify you of approval or denial. Approved refunds will be issued to your original payment method within 10 business days. Please note that banks and credit card companies may take additional time to process.

If it has been more than 15 business days since your refund approval and you have not received your refund, please contact us at contact@gillettdiesel.com.

Warranty Information

We stand behind our products with a 30-day money-back guarantee. In addition, all products are covered by the original manufacturer’s warranty. Warranty periods and services vary by manufacturer and product. Please contact us if you need assistance with a warranty claim.

Core Return Policy

⚠️ Important: A completed Core Return Form must be included with all core returns. Core returns sent without this form will not receive credit.

Some products, such as injection pumps, injectors, and turbochargers, include a refundable core charge. This charge is refunded when your old part (“core”) is returned to Gillett Diesel Service under the following conditions:

Core Return Requirements

To receive full core credit:

  • A Core Return Form must be completed and included with your return.

  • The core must be returned within 30 days of the original purchase.

  • The returned core must be the same model and part number as the purchased product.

  • The core must be in rebuildable condition:

    • OEM only (e.g., Bosch, Holset, Garrett, etc. – no aftermarket brands).

    • Cores with snapped shafts, severe damage, or missing components are not rebuildable and will not receive credit.

    • Do not disassemble cores before returning.

Inspection & Credit

  • All cores are inspected upon return.

  • Refunds are issued based on the condition of the returned core.

  • Non-rebuildable cores will not be refunded.

  • Partial refunds may be issued for cores with limited rebuildable value.

  • Core credit will only be issued if the Core Return Form is completed and included.

  • No exceptions will be made.
